2014 Volunteer Prairie Plantings – Part B

Jul 16 | 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm | Princess Point Parking Lot

Join RBG staff and help restore our beautiful natural areas by planting native prairie plants!

Royal Botanical Gardens has been restoring Princess Point to a rare Tallgrass Prairie habitat using prescribed burns. But fire is only half the answer – plantings are needed to improve biodiversity.

Over 8,500 prairie plants have already been planted, and RBG needs your help planting another 1,000 this year! Please RSVP to David d’Entremont:  or 905-527-1158 x 257

We look forward to seeing you there!

Dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty! Gloves and equipment will be provided. Water and snacks will be available for participants.

Cancelations will be posted on RBG’s Facebook page and tweeted (@RBGCanada).
