The Giant's Rib Escarpment Education Network (GREEN) Presents The Bruce Duncan Memorial Lecture Series

GREEN’s Bruce Duncan Memorial Lecture Series is scheduled to host its next presentation on Sunday, November 30th. This month’s lecture will be delivered by Dr. David Galbraith who will focus exclusively on the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System. The hour long lecture will take place at the Waterfront Trust Centre (47 Discovery Drive Hamilton, ON L8L 8K4) and begins promptly at 2:00 pm.

Wildlife Biologist, Dr. David Galbraith is Head of Science at Royal Botanical Gardens and has led the development of the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System since its inception in 2006. Dr. Galbraith was named the 2009 Dr. Victor Cecilioni Hamilton Environmentalist of the Year and is well respected for his studies of the ecology of Ontario turtles. His lecture will provide an in-depth discussion of the project to protect and preserve the biodiversity of Cootes Paradise Marsh and Grindstone Creek. 

There is a cover charge of $5.00 and door prizes and refreshments will be provided following the lecture, along with an opportunity to talk with the speaker.
