Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System Open House in Flamborough

Please join City of Hamilton Councillor Judi Partridge the evening of Tuesday, April 8, 2014 for a community open house about the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System, our remarkable local natural areas, and how you can get involved.

The evening will feature a fascinating presentation by David Galbraith, Head of Natural Science at Royal Botanical Gardens, on The Remarkable Natural and Cultural Heritage of Our Region. The Birds of Prey from Mountsberg will also be in attendance, providing a great opportunity to see these magnificent birds up close and learn more about them. In addition, there will be displays and information materials about Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System, the Hamilton Halton Watershed Stewardship Program, and other local environmental initiatives, with staff on hand to answer your questions.

The open house will begin at 6:00 pm, with presentations starting at 6:30  pm (see list below). The open house will conclude at 8:00 pm.

This open house is one of a series of community open houses about the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System. Another open house will be held in Westdale on April 30, 2014 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Lawn Bowling Clubhouse in Churchill Park
