The Eco-Art Workshop will consist of two parts: 1. a one-hour outdoor hike led by Erin Mallon, Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System Stewardship Technician. This hike will take place along the trails in Cootes Paradise to learn about the local ecology and the identification of flora and fauna. 2. the art project and lesson on how to create your own print inspired by nature with the help of Kim Laird, a fine art student at McMaster University.
All materials will be provided, no experience necessary. Please email Erin Mallon (emallon@hrca.on.ca) to reserve your spot!
Please bring sturdy shoes, water and dress for the weather.
